The demo page is a standalone, public URL where anyone can interact with your chatbot. Use it to share with colleagues, clients, or stakeholders before embedding the widget on your site.

Enabling the Demo Page

Open your chatbot

Go to the chatbot detail page.

Go to the Publish tab

Click the Publish tab → Demo Page sub-tab.

Toggle it on

Flip the Public demo enabled switch. A shareable URL appears.

Demo URL Format

The page shows a centered chat widget on a gradient background. Visitors can immediately start chatting — no login required.

Sharing

  • Copy link — one-click copy button next to the URL
  • Open in new window — preview button to test it yourself

What Visitors See

  • The chat widget with your configured appearance (colors, font, theme)
  • Your welcome message and suggested questions
  • Full chat functionality with source citations and feedback buttons
  • No FIFE.BOT branding visible (except the default footer)

  • The demo page uses the same credits as the embedded widget
  • Conversations on the demo page appear in your Analytics like any other conversation
  • The demo page respects your chatbot’s widget language setting
